DSF final week: Your guide to best activities on offer for kids

The final week of month-long Dubai Shopping Festival promises a packed, fun schedule for the tiny-tots. Here are our expert recommendations that parents must not skip.

Shaabiat Al Cartoon

The much loved Emirati cartoon characters join forces for this show. Conceptualised by an Emirati production, the characters are inspired from fun, and interesting real-life characters from Dubai. The show will be held at 4pm, 5pm, 6.30pm and 8 pm on January 30 and 31.

Barbie Live Show

Here’s an unique opportunity for young fashionistas to join their favourite American doll for a fun walk on the fashion ramp. Set amidst a dreamy pink backdrop, the Barbie Live Show will be held at Dubai Festival City Mall from January 30 to February 1 at 8pm and 9.30pm.

Alice in Wonderland – Tea Party

Put on your party dress and head for the most awaited tea party in town. Alice In Wonderland - Tea Party will be held at the Deira City Centre and will give the kiddos a chance to meet their favourite fictional characters. From The Hatter, to Cheshire Cat to the Queen of Hearts, they will all be there until January 30 at 4.30pm, 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

Baraem in Dubai


Popular Arabic characters Teela, Toula and Fafa will set the stage of fire with their fireball act at the Mirdif City Centre between January 30 and February 1 at 4.30pm, 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

Organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), the DSF is into its 19th edition.
