A new chain of polyclinics and hospitals is being set up in the UAE, GCC and India, starting with 10 new clinics in the UAE.

Dubai-based HNC Healthcare Group is starting its ambitious project to set up 100 clinics spread across the UAE, GCC and India by 2020 with an investment of Dh300 million.

The group plans to take over sick clinics and small clinics or establish new outlets.

On World Diabetes Day 2015 (November 14), HNC Healthcare Group conducted diabetes test for about 25,000 people.

Diabetic testing kiosks were established in all major labour camps in Sonapur, Al Qouz, Jebel Ali and other locations across the emirate.

Dr Shanith Mangalat, Chairman of HNC Healthcare Group, said many expatriates in the UAE are prone to diabetics after they cross 40 mainly because of improper lifestyle.

HNC Healthcare Group owns and manages three hospitals in Kannur district in Kerala.
