Dubai Calendar: Spectacular September in store

A comprehensive listing of events taking place this September in the Emirate is now featured on Dubai Calendar, the official listing of events in Dubai.

Cricket, T20

Sports fans would not want to miss one of the most thrilling games in cricket during the Twenty20 Cricket Series.

The highly anticipated Pakistan vs. Australia games will kick off on Wednesday September 5 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai Sports City.

The series continues on Friday September 7 with the final game, and possible series decider, to be played on Sunday September 9 and with ticket prices starting at only Dh20, the matches promise hard hitting and action-packed world-class T20 cricket for everyone Fab Four Beatles fans will be serenaded by Duck Chowles and his band, who will pay tribute to one of the most successful and critically acclaimed bands in the world.

The Fab Four – Music of the Beatles will celebrate The Beatles’ 50th Anniversary with live performances on September 6-8 at the First Group Theatre, Madinat Jumeirah.

Al Murray

British comedian and TV personality, Al Murray, will leave the crowd in stiches with Al Murray - The Only Way Is Epic Tour, featuring brand new material of epic proportions. Murray will perform for four nights, 11-14 September, at the First Group Theatre, Madinat Jumeirah.

Mena Golf

Professionals and amateurs golf players will get the opportunity to walk away with prize money of USD 50,000 at the opening round of The MENA Golf Tour, September 23-26, at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club. With large prize funds and World Amateur Ranking points available, the MENA Golf Tour, an initiative by the Sheikh Maktoum Golf Foundation, provides a unique platform for the success and development of golf players.

Red Bull

Gitex

For technology, gadgets and gaming enthusiasts, Dubai has a lot to offer this September. The region’s hottest consumer electronics show, GITEX Shopper, will be the perfect ending to an eventful September.

The year’s biggest consumer electronics retail platform will kick off on September 29th for eight days at its new location, the Dubai World Trade Centre, and will unveil the latest gadgets and home electronics to more than 160,000 visitors from around the world.
