Dubai Courts has announced that it has adopted the Dubai Font as its official font to be used in all its internal and external correspondence.
Launched by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, the Dubai Font is the first city typeface created by Microsoft.
Dubai Courts Director-General, Tarek Eid Al Mansouri, said that the adopting the font enhances the city's reputation as a pioneer in innovative ideas and in keeping abreast of digital developments.
The font was developed simultaneously in Latin and Arabic script. It includes 23 languages, and captures the unique nature of the Emirate of Dubai.
