Dubai customs seize 107kg sex stimulants
A shipment from an European country was confiscated at the Dubai Airport Free Zone for containing 'illegal' products.
During normal inspection procedures, officials came across a package comprising 100,000 sex stimulant tablets weighing 107kilograms, reported 'Al Bayan'.
Officials sent the sample to the Department of Registration and Drug Control at the Ministry of Health, and found the drug was not registered with the MoH; had no importing permit; and was banned from commercial distribution in the Emirates.
The customs has stored the shipment in the 'unfit' zone. The expiry date of the drugs was mentioned on a separate label. The shipment also had no mention of date of manufacturing, as is required by the MoH.
