A branch of Dubai Municipality is coming up on Sheikh Zayed Road in Al Safa area.
With this the Municipality will have five branches, the other four being Umm Suqeim, Hatta, Karama and Al Tawar.
It will be located on Sheikh Zayed Road near the Metro station and Noor Islamic Bank.
Up to 30 per cent of the work of the two-floor building, which is being built at a land area of 83,097 square feet, is completed so far.
The General Projects Department in the Municipality is continuing with the engineering work of the project.
"The work of the project was taken up within the framework of the Municipality's continuous efforts to provide community services for infrastructure projects as it is currently implementing a number of service projects like this," said Mohammed Noor Mashroom, Director of General Projects Department.
He said the department is seeking to achieve the strategic directions of the Municipality by efficiently designing and implementing service projects for the Emirate of Dubai.
"Establishment of such centres achieves one of the most important strategic objectives of the Municipality - the decentralisation of service delivery for customers," said Mashroom.
