Dubai Municipality to have new headquarters in Al Garhoud

The Projects Department of Dubai Municipality has announced the new headquarters project for Dubai Municipality, which is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2015.

The Dh53 million project, located in Al Garhoud close to many other government authorities, is designed to meet all the requirements of an innovative office building in line with the most advanced international standards in the construction field. Dubai's "Green Building" specifications will also be applicable for the new headquarters.

Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, said that the move comes as part of DM’s enthusiasm to provide the best facilities and services to both its employees and the public, focusing on the vision of the civic body to create an excellent city that provides the essence of success and the comfort of sustainable living.

The 10-storey building will be completely given over to office use, which will include most of the departments, along with all necessary infrastructural facilities including plenty of parking spaces for employees and visitors.
