Dubai registers over 3,000 vehicles per day
Ahmed Hashim Bahrozyan, CEO, Licensing Agency, Roads & Transport Authority said today that more than 1,137,750 vehicles were registered in Dubai in 2012.
The annual renewals of registrations of new cars would require additional vehicle testing and registrations centres to meet the increased demand.
Ahmed Bahrozyan said on an average around 3,500 vehicle registrations were renewed daily in Dubai in 2012.
He was speaking at the inauguration of a world-class vehicle testing and registration centre of CARS at Deira, Dubai with this, the network of RTA’s licensing centres in the Emirate of Dubai has reached 21 centres.
"The new world class centres, such as the one we are launching today, help reduce queues and waiting time at our licensing centres," said Bahrozyan.
