Dubai will get a Flower Burj Khalifa tonight

There will be a new Burj Khalifa rising up tonight, but this one will be completely made with flowers.

“Tonight 31st December 2013, we will celebrate the New year eve at the Miracle Garden, the event will include a countdown for the launching of our Flower Burj Khalifa,” the Dubai Miracle Garden Facility Management said.

"We just completed the Flower Burj Khalifa early this morning. It is 18 metres in height," a company spokesperson told Emirates 24|7.

Entrance fee, which is Dh20, will be waived after 9 pm.

Burj Khalifa (2,717-feet) has 900 studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, while there are 144 private Armani Residences. Cluttons stated that their calculations exclude Armani apartments. The tower offers luxurious recreational and leisure facilities including four swimming pools, an exclusive residents' lounge; health and wellness facilities; At.mosphere, the world's highest fine dining restaurant at level 122 and At the Top, the world's highest observatory deck with an outdoor terrace on level 124.

Miracle Garden in Dubailand opened its door to the public on November 28th with over 45 million flowers this season.

In the second season, Miracle Garden will have a UAE floral flag, a floral clock, a butterfly park, an aromatic garden and an edible garden, Akar Landscaping Services & Agriculture, the developer’s of the garden, had said in a statement emailed to this website.

“Nearly 700,000 people visited our garden during the first season (February 14 to May 18, 2013). In this new season, we are expecting the numbers to cross a million,” the company said.

Miracle Garden will have two phases - the first phase will have huge structures of sunflowers, seven flower hearts, seven stars and huge stunning flowers made with 3D art design.

Phase two, which opens in January, will have the Butterfly Garden, which will be a round shape garden designed in 3D and decorated with flowers.

The Butterfly Garden will have nine domes spread across 1,800 square meters. Each dome will be filled with different color, sizes and species of butterflies.
