Emirati son and his father drown in a water hole in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah Police announced the death of a 13-year-old Emirati child and his 39-year-old father on Wednesday, after they drowned in a water hole in Wadi Shahah in Ras Al Khaimah.

The details of this incident, according to a police statement, revealed that a report received on Wednesday afternoon to the operating room about the drowning of a child and his father in a water hole in Wadi Sheha.

Agents from the marine rescue branch of the police immediately moved to the aforementioned place.

The police stated that it was found that the child had drowned inside the hole filled with rainwater, so that his father rushed to try to save him, but they died by drowning in the hole, pointing out that the marine rescue men, upon their arrival, began a wide search operation using rubber boats.

The team recovered the body of the child and his father.

They were transferred to the hospital. The competent authorities are in the process of completing the legal procedures for the incident file.
