A forensic report produced in court on Tuesday showed that sperm on the underwear of a lady who is claiming she was raped, matched the DNA of the accused.

However, traces of sperm found on the bedcover in the complainant’s home were of another man, the report added.

The report was produced before the Dubai Criminal Court in the case of an Emirati soldier accused of raping a British woman twice - once in the desert and then in her house.

The forensic report also stated that there were not enough of traces of sperm on the complainant’s body for a DNA test.

The report stated that blood stains on the front seat of the car matched the complainant’s DNA and that she sustained bruises resulting from hitting a hard and rough object.

On April 3, LO, 20, went with her friends to the Buddha Bar at the Grosvenor House at around 11.30pm. She saw SKJ, 30, talking to her friend after which he introduced himself and offered her a drink.

SKJ then followed her and insisted he drop her home to Palm Jumeirah. She accepted.

When she noticed he was going in the wrong direction she asked him why, to which he reacted in anger.

He abused her and hit her head against the window. She kept quiet fearing another outburst as he was drunk, she told the court in her testimony.

He then drove into the desert and raped her.

Being drunk he could not find his way back to Dubai so he asked two motorists on the road to show him the way.

She did not seek help from the two men as she was still scared.

When they finally reached her home he asked her if anyone was in the house.

When she told him her father was in the house he abused her and threatened her to tell him the truth.

She then told him nobody was in the house.

In the building she attempted to escape by pressing the first-floor and tenth-floor buttons, hoping that the security staff would notice her unusual behavior and inform the police.

When she reached her flat he immediately pushed her to the bed and raped her again.

After he went to the bathroom, she managed to call her neighbor asking him for help.

The accused then left after which she went to her neighbour’s house and told him the story.

At 11am she logged a complaint with police.

The accused who had confessed before the Prosecution to having sex with the accused twice in the car and at her house in addition to consuming alcohol, has now denied the first accusation and only confessed to consuming alcohol.

The Court adjourned the case until September 19.
