General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces received today a telephone call from US President Barack Obama during which they discussed ties of friendship and cooperation, as well as a number of regional issues.
President Obama renewed his country's commitment to the strong partnership with the UAE.
The two sides also reviewed regional developments and joint security challenges. They agreed to continue consultations.
The telephone call comes within the context of continuous consultations between the two countries on several issues of mutual interest.
Mohamed bin Zayed sets up supervisory committee for ADCCI elections
General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council of Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has issued a decision, forming the supervisory committee to oversee the elections of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) for year 2014.
According to the decision, the committee will be chaired by judge from the Department of Judiciary. The members of the supervisory committee include the following: Mohammed Omer Abdullah, Mariam Mohammed Abdullah Al Rumaithi, Obaid Sultan Al Dhahiri, Mohammed Rashid Al Hamili and Dr. Jassim Ali Al Shamsi.
