Police at Sharjah Airport has arrested an Indian expatriate traveller after gold was found hidden in the handle of his travel bag.
Police said the arrested person has admitted that a compatriot who owned a jewellery shop had helped him to conceal the gold in the handle of the bag to avoid paying customs duty at the airport in India.
