Hazza bin Tahnoun performs prayers for rain

Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Under-Secretary of the Court of the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, today performed prayers for rain, known as Salaat Al Istisqaa, at the Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed the First Mosque in Al Ain.

The prayers were held in response to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's call for Muslims in the UAE to gather at mosques and musallahs across the country to perform the prayers in keeping with the tradition of the Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, to pray for the land to be blessed with rain.

A number of citizens and residents also performed prayers along with Sheikh Hazza.
