Daredevil drivers are back in action on UAE roads. Fresh video clips of stunt driving on the country's roads have emerged and are doing the rounds on sites such as Facebook and YouTube.

Earlier this year, two Emirati motorists had grabbed the attention of residents and the local media when footage of their jaw-dropping stunt driving on Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road hit the web.

The duo were arrested and later fined Dh1,000 each by a Dubai court. The incident had taken place on May 1 during a celebration convoy after the Al Wasl football club won a tournament.

Now the 'shameless duo' are back with more stunt driving on the country's streets, claims 7Days.

Dozens of video clips have been posted on a dedicated YouTube channel and some of these videos are being circulated heavily on social networking sites such as Facebook.

In one of the clips, which is doing the rounds of Facebook, the passenger climbs out of the side window to stand on the car’s roof, while the 4x4 vehicle teeters on two side wheels.

Some of the other videos posted on the YouTube channel show vicious handbrake turns and swerves in car parks. All video clips display the name of the youtube channel as well as an email ID.

The videos have triggered a furious response from residents, who have criticised the drivers’ disregard for safety and the lives of other drivers.

Motoring experts claim levying heavy fines will not have any effect on the behaviour of these kind of drivers.

The latest videos have been sent to police authorities and officials will investigate, a spokesman told 7Days.
