IGCSE school to open in Ajman in September

The Bloomington Academy, the first IGCSE curriculum school in Ajman is opening in September 2014.

Located in the heart of Ajman City, The Bloomington Academy is yet another venture of The Lazar Group, said Lanson Lazar, The Advising Chairman of the group.

The campus with cutting-edge infrastructure will accommodate 2,000 students. A holistic approach with focus on collaborative learning with experiential education will constitute the pedagogy and will be supported by the latest technology, multimedia and digital learning.

Special emphasis will be given to sports and extracurricular activities. There are facilities for soccer, table tennis, basketball, athletics, swimming, gymnasium, lawn tennis and horse riding apart from a mini golf course. Pupils will be exposed to art, drama, music, painting and literature for aesthetic development, too.

For a better understanding of a multicultural society that we live in, the Academy will also organise exchange programmes with local as well international schools and organisations.
