Indian tailor wins Dh100,000, 2 Infiniti cars
Three days after celebrating the arrival of his daughter, Indian tailor Fasaludheen Kuttipalakkal had more reasons to celebrate.
He won the Infiniti Mega Raffle draw on the second day of the Dubai Shopping Festival, and walked away with Dh100,000 in cash, and two Infiniti cars – QX60 and G25.
The 33-year-old has been living in Dubai for 10 years now, and has been buying the raffle ticket every DSF along with his friends.
This year, however, he decided to buy on his own.
“In my heart, I knew I was going to win this time. I was thrilled when I received the call. There could not be a better start to the New Year,” he said.
“This year, with the arrival of my daughter, things have changed for the good and I am very happy.”
Fasaludheen believes it’s his daughter who brought him luck.
He plans to giveaway part of the cash to help his friends and family members back home and another part to build a house in Kerala.
He is, however, undecided about what to do with the two cars.
“I think everyone should try their luck with the DSF Mega Raffles. If not for yourself, you should try it with the name of your family members – you never know who may prove lucky for you and change your life forever.”
Shoppers are eligible to take part in the daily Infiniti Mega Raffles upon buying a raffle ticket for Dh200 at Gold Souk, main shopping malls, selected ENOC and EPPCO petrol stations and Global Village.
The winners get to take home Infiniti QX60, Infiniti G25 and cash prize of Dh100,000.
The 32-day-long DSF will run till February 2 under the theme “Shop at your Best”.
