Jan opening for new Ritz-Carlton Dubai

The Ritz-Carlton will open its second hotel in Dubai in January and has rolled out a range of launch packages at the property.

After months of delay and rumours around its opening date, the Ritz-Carlton Dubai Financial Centre is accepting reservations for arrivals on January 12, 2011 and beyond, Vivienne Gan, Regional Director of Public Relations, Middle East, Ritz-Carlton, told Emirates 24|7.

Former owners Union Properties finalised the sale of the property  for Dh1.1 billion last month.

The property is one of several new hotels opening their doors to clients at the moment, including One & Only The Palm, which opened in November, and Jumeirah's Zabeel Saray, believed to be opening this month. And Australian chain Staywell has just opened the Park Regis Kris Kin opposite BurJuman Centre, with rates on its website advertised from Dh389.

Three packages are available to book on the Ritz-Carlton DIFC’s website, beginning with a City Reconnect deal beginning at Dh950. Weekend bed and breakfast deals start at Dh1,110. Both are valid through to August 31.

The hotel features 341 guestrooms and suites and several fine dining restaurants, including the Thai Blue Rain, a French brasserie and a steakhouse.
