Khalifa orders aid for Turkey quake victims

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has ordered various humanitarian foundations and authorities in the country to coordinate and organise emergency aid by constituting a team for those affected by the devastating earthquake in eastern Turkey.

This initiative comes within his keenness to support other nations during catastrophes. 

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, earlier sent a cable of condolences to President Abdullah Gul of Turkey on the loss of lives in an earthquake that hit eastern Turkey.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have sent similar cables to Turkish President.
