Life term for drug peddling

An Asian has been sentenced to life imprisonment for peddling drugs. BKK, 31, visitor, has been convicted of possessing 9.1gm of drugs including methadone and morphine.

Following a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotics Department of Dubai POlice asked the informer to pose as a buyer and negotiate with the dealer.

While the informer was offered a few tablets for Dh500, the police arrested him. They confiscated more tablets from BBK's car.

Dubai Criminal Court fround him guilty of drug peddling.
