Light rain forecast for Dubai; poor visibilty

The National Centre of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS) has warned motorists of low visibility as South winds is expected to raise dust especially in the inland areas.

The centre in a statement said that the horizontal visibility on Jebel Ali has reached to 1200 meters and in Al Bateen to 300 meters due to the dust cover.

Officials also called on motorists to adhere to traffic rules and drive cautiously.

Meanwhile, the cloud cover is expected to increase over some Northern and Eastern areas with a chance of some light rain during morning time.

Fresh winds will also decrease day-time temperatures over some areas, according to the weather bureau.

Some internal areas may experience temperatures as low as 8 degree centigrade, with a maximum of just 27 degree C.

The sea will be rough to veray rough over Arabian Gulf.

However, relative humidity will increase by night and early morning with some internal areas recording up to 95 per cent.
