London hotel attacker is killer not thief: Dad
A man who attacked three Emirati girls at a London hotel wanted to murder rather than rob them as he was armed with a hammer and fled without stealing anything, the girls’ father was quoted as saying on Wednesday.
Jaafar Nasser Al Najjar, 70, said his daughters Uhoud, Kholoud and Fatima, were vacationing in London when they were attacked by an unknown man at their hotel room early morning with a hammer, which he used to strike at their heads.

“The attacker committed this ugly crime and fled without stealing anything from the room although my daughters had valuable items. He might have wanted to murder my daughters for a reason which I don’t know. He used a steel hammer and attacked my daughter savagely,” Najjar told the Arabic language daily Emarat Al Youm.
“I am following their news through my son Abdul Wahab who is now in London to be with his sisters.
"The attacker targeted the heads of my daughters and this shows he had an intention to kill. Many questions are now raised about his motives for this attempted murder and the savage way he used in his attack.”
