Man jailed for toilet pictures

A Filipino electrician has been sentenced to six months in prison for leaving his mobile phone in the washroom and secretly taking pictures of women using toilet.

AC, 23, will be deported after serving his sentence, the Dubai Court of First Instance ruled on Thursday, reported 'Gulf News'.
 
AC is accused of molesting a Filipina and breaching her modesty by taking her pictures while she used the washroom.

He pleaded guilty before the presiding Judge Hamad Abdul Latif Abdul Jawad and said: "I am guilty. I fixed my mobile on vedio mode and took pictures while she was in the toilet."

According to the prosecution sheet the accused intentionally placed his mobile in the laundry basket focusing the washroom. The Filipina said hat she saw a flash. "I took it with me and opened it on my laptop. There were three photos of the suspect. There was also a video file clearly showing him placing his mobile phone on the video mode and putting it in the laundry box. Then I appeared undressing and using the toilet in the footage," she added.
