The Dubai Criminal Court heard the case of a worker accused of threating to kill his employer if the latter did not cancel an absconding notification he had filed.

On January 7, HBS, 39, Pakistani, partner in a company, complained to police that the accused KRM, 30, Pakistani worker, caught hold of him while he was leaving his office. He grabbed his shirt and asked him why he had filed an absconding notification against him.

Asam Yasin Mohammed, 26, supervisor in the same company, pushed KRM back who, before leaving, threatened to kill HBS if he did not cancel the absconding notification.

Mohammed also testified before prosecution.

The court adjourned the case to August 23 for verdict.
