The Ministry of Health signed a memorandum of understanding with Absher initiative to provide employment opportunities for UAE nationals over the next five years. The Ministry will appoint 3,000 UAE nationals, ensure the training of the graduates of health sciences graduates and employ them in the public and private sectors. The agreement also provides facilities for UAE nationals in the private labour market as they are a main strategic partner in the country’s development process.

Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development and Acting Minister of Health, lauded “Abshar Initiative” reassuring that it achieves the aspirations and ambitions of the wise leadership and attains social and family stability for them too.

He explained that the initiative came at the right time to encourage and enhance the participation of UAE nationals in the labour market, achieve the aspirations of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and find suitable jobs for UAE nationals in all fields.

Al Owais also noted that the Ministry of Health works very hard to employ UAE nationals in all fields and continue their training in health and medical fields through cooperation with UAE higher education institutes to employ them in public and private sectors.
