Mohammed bin Rashid receives religious scholars, preachers

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, today received a group of Muslim religious scholars, preachers and imams who were invited to the UAE by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as well as members of the judging panel of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award and lecturers from Dubai's Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities who came to extend greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the reception, in addition to Deputy Ruler of Dubai HH Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation HH Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

His Highness welcomed the guests and wished them success in conveying the true message of Islam and projecting the values of tolerance and dialogue.

They prayed to God to bless the leaders of the UAE with continued good health and spare the UAE from misfortunes.

Later, all guests had iftar at Sheikh Mohammed's Zabeel Palace.
