Mohammed bin Zayed receives Binay

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has received the Vice-President of the Philippines, Jejomar Binay, who is leading a delegation on a current visit to take part in the inaugural Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, hosted by Abu Dhabi's Masdar between 13-17 January.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed welcomed the Binay's visit and his country's positive participation in the Week which discusses the best solutions to address challenges to global adoption of renewable energy solutions, water security and sustainable development. 

The meeting also discussed the distinguished relations between the two coutnries in industrial, trade, economic and investment spheres and ways to promote them in service of the interests of the two countries and their peoples. 

Sheikh Mohammed also discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation through expanding contacts and coordination among the institutions of public and private sectors on environmental conservation, natural resources development and the exchange of visits of senior officials and experts. 

For his part, the Philippine Vice President expressed pleasure at visiting the UAE and meeting His Highness the Crown Prince.

He emphasised his country's interest in promoting bilateral relations with the UAE in all spheres. 

He hailed the care given to the Philippine community in the UAE. 

Receives Kosovan President 

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has received President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, who is leading a delegation to the UAE to participate in the inaugural Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, hosted by Abu Dhabi's Masdar between 13-17 January.

Welcoming Kosovan President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed noted the good relations with Kosovo, and emphasised the UAE's interest in backing and strengthening them in all areas to best interests of the two countries and their peoples The two sides emphasised that the importance of further future cooperation, exchange of views and visits as well as expanded economic relations and providing opportunities to investors to contribute to joint projects and initiatives which serve the aspirations of both countries.

For her part, President Jahjaga expressed her pleasure at visiting the UAE.

She also hailed the progress made by the UAE in all areas as well as its contribution to the implementation of vital projects serving the environment and humanity.   

Receives Singaporean environment minister General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has received Singapore's Minister for the Environment & Water ResourcesVivian Balakrishnan who is on a visit to the UAE to participate in the inaugural Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, hosted by Abu Dhabi's Masdar between 13-17 January.

Welcoming the Minister Balakrishnan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed appreciation of Singaporean delegation participation in the Week and its active contribution to initiatives and issues of sustainable development. 

The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them in spheres such as environmental conservation and renewable energy in light of the interest of the leaderships of the two counties in promoting them in service of the their peoples. 

The two sides also exchanged views on ways to promote relations and joint projects as well as the importance of cooperation and coordination on environmental issues and the development of modern water treatment technologies.
