Mohammed bin Zayed receives President of Somalia

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received on Friday at the Emirates Palace President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud of Somalia who is currently on a visit to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud and discussed with him ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
They also discussed latest developments and issues of mutual interest.
 
Sheikh Mohammed expressed the hope that Somalia will witness peace, stability and national unity for further development and progress to the people of Somalia.
 
For his part, President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud praised the humanitarian efforts made by the UAE and its firm stand by the people of Somalia.
