Mohammed receives Serbian President

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received at Zabeel Palace in Dubai on Monday evening President Tomislav Nikolic of Serbia and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, which was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Serbian President and wished him a pleasant stay in the UAE.
 
Sheikh Mohammed and President Nikolic discussed means of furthering economic cooperation between the two countries.
 
President Nikolic praised the progress made by the UAE in all domains and underlined the country leadership's wise policies and keen efforts to provide security and prosperity to the people of the UAE.
 
The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs; Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of Dubai Ruler's Court; Mohammed Ali Al Abbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties; Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, Director-General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department; Juma Eashid Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Serbia and Milos Perisic, Ambassador of Serbia.
 
Mohammed receives French FM


 
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received at Zabeel palace in Dubai on Monday evening French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius.
 
Sheikh Mohammed and Fabius discussed bilateral ties and ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in technical fields.
 
Sheikh Mohammed extended condolences to the government and people of France on the victims of the recent terrorist attacks there and emphasised the need to step up international cooperation to eradicate terrorism that threatens regional security and stability.
 
The French Foreign Minister praised his country's strong relations with the UAE and lauded the progress made by the UAE in all fields, thanks to the wise policies of its leadership.
 
He also thanked the leadership and government of the UAE for the care and respect given to the French community who live in a tolerant society and contribute in many development projects.
 
Fabius also commended Sheikh Mohammed's vision on political and economic issues and underlined the development programmes and the world-class infrastructure projects in the UAE.
 
He expressed his country's keenness to build a partnership between Dubai Expo 2020 and Paris Expo 2025 to enable sharing expertise and best practices.
 
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, ministers, senior officials and the French Ambassador Michel Miraillet.
