A mother was finally given approval by the UAE’s top court to keep her five children after she partially lost the case in another court against her ex-husband.
A court had earlier given the mother custody of her sons and daughters but an appeal court later stripped the mother off custody of two daughters and allowed her to keep three children under the custody age.
The woman objected to the sentence and resorted to the federal supreme court, which ruled that she should be given custody of all her children until the sons reach the adult age and the daughters get married.
Emirat Alyoum Arabic language daily said the mother and her five children live with her father but did not mention where.
