Eyewitnesses have reported a couple of accidents on the Dubai-Al Ain Highway this morning, leading to tailbacks and traffic congestion in the Nad Al Sheba area.
A four-car crash is the primary reason why a kilometer-long tailback is being reported on the highway (Dubai-bound) at about 8.40am this morning.
“Traffic is slow before exit 7, towards Dubai in the Nad Al Sheba area,” a regular morning commuter told this website.
“Nobody seems to be hurt, but two of the cars seemed to be on the divider while two other were parked on the right side of the road,” the eyewitness said.
“There’s also debris on the road from the crash, which is further slowing down traffic,” he said.
The traffic seems to be freely flowing after the crash, though.
In addition, at the same time (8.40am) there was minor 2-car fender-bender on the same road a few hundred metres before the bigger crash. A station wagon and a 4-wheel drive had collided, the eyewitness reported.
