New home care option for patients just a call away

Imagine a child becomes sick with a fever in the middle of the night. The parents cannot control the fever and the clinics are closed. Fearing for their child’s health, there is no other alternative but rush the child to the emergency room.

If the parents had the option to call a 24-7 physician helpline or received home care services, the doctor would have been able to help them control their child’s fever in comfort of their home, saving time, money and valuable emergency room resources.

With the projected demand for patient care on the rise, it is no surprise that medical facilities are literally popping up everywhere across the UAE.

The Hospital-at-Home Programme is designed to offer an alternative setting intended for those patients with “Chronic Conditions” who experience periodic acute episodes that may trigger hospitalization.

The Mobile Doctors 24-7 model integrates an around-the-clock 24-7 physician helpline and homecare service, which helps to alleviate gaps in the traditional healthcare system.

We chose to extend our models of care from the United States to the United Arab Emirates because the UAE embodies innovation and has made the health of its’ citizens, residents and visitors a top priority.

In order to properly introduce the integrated models of alternative services, Dr Bruce Leff, Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, will give a presentation at the M+ Health Convention sessions taking place as part of Arab Health, highlighting the intrinsic value of the John Hopkins Hospital at Home Program.

Mobile Doctors 24-7 International is a physician helpline service where licensed and experienced Dubai Healthcare City doctors provide a scalable array of health care services anywhere in the UAE 24 a day/7 days a week. Mobile doctors 24-7 is uniquely licensed to implement the Johns Hopkins hospital at home program in the UAE.
