New residential plots for Sharjah citizens

The Permanent Committee for Land Allocation in Sharjah has approved 191 applications for new residential plots for citizens.

Waleed bin Falah Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Committee, said the allocation of plots is in accordance with implementation of the directives of his Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for granting citizens of the emirate of Sharjah residential land and investment to raise their living standards and diversify sources of income.

He added that applications were scrutinized at a meeting at the Directorate of Town Planning and Survey, where 22 were turned down for not fulfilling the required criteria.
