E-Natwasal service has so far benefitted about one million people, according to the Ministry of Labour.

About 571,000 workers, who hold labour cards, reviewed their contracts via e-Natwasal service, reported Al Khaleej newspaper.

Meanwhile, 432,000 workers who do not have labour cards accessed their employment details through the portal and 11,371 employers availed the service until Saturday.

Apart from accessing their employment details, the portal also allows workers to report complaints such as delayed salary payments via 'Ratiby' (my salary) service. If salaries are delayed by more than 15 days, workers can post complaints.

Similarly, the portal allows employers to access special reports on labour cards statistics, various facilities offered to enterprises, status of visas, bank guarantees, etc.

The service also allows authorities to access transactions from typing offices via Tasheel service, including requests for temporary work permits, renewal of commercial licences, etc.
