Passport forgery gang busted in Sharjah

Sharjah police arrested nine Bangladeshi men involved in the forgery of passports, labour cars and visas to the UAE, the press reported on Monday.
 
Police said the nine confessed to forging such documents and were charging Dh7,000 for each forged passport and Dh500 for an entry visa.
 
A police undercover who posted as a visa applicant managed to penetrate the gang and trigger a police raid on their flat in the emirate.
 
Police, quoted by Emirat Alyoum daily, said they found a large number of passport, visa and labour cards forms in addition to laptops and flash memories used in their activities.
