Saif bin Zayed offers condolences to martyr’s family

Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, on Tuesday offered his condolences on the death of Emirati serviceman Obaid Salem Saeed Al Bedwawi, who died while participating in the Saudi-led Arab coalition 'Operation Restoring Hope' supporting the legitimate government in Yemen.

During his visit to the mourning tent in Masfoot, Ajman, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif expressed his deep condolences and sincere sympathies to the family of the martyr, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in peace and grant his family the patience and solace to bear their loss.

Martyr Obaid Salem Al Badwawi laid to rest in Ajman

Funeral prayer was performed on Monday for Emirati martyr Obaid Salem Saeed Al Badwawi who died in Saudi Arabia when his vehicle overturned while performing his national duty as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's ‘Operation Restoring Hope’ in Yemen.

They laid the martyr to rest at Masfout cemetery in Ajman, praying to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace and to bestow patience and solace to his family.

Saeed, the elder brother of the martyr, said he was proud of his brother who went to serve his country and to defend those who are oppressed.

"Our hero brother left us but four of us are serving in the armed forces and we are all ready to offer our lives for our country and our leaders," he added.
