Sharjah bridge closure: Click for details

Traffic on Intersection 4 leading to the bridge on the road from Sharjah to Al Dhaid, just before Sharjah International Airport, will be affected for a month.
 
“The bridge will be completely closed every day from 9pm until 6am,” Sulaiman Al Hajri, Director of Roads and Transport Authority in Sharjah for the Roads Affairs, was quoted by ‘Emarat Al Youm’ as saying.
 
He said during the day the bridge will be closed only partly.
 
“A special technology that uses iron plates with particular specifications to cover the area of work will allow car movements on part of the bridge during the day,” he said.
 
Al Hajri told Emarat Al Youm that only those coming from the Al Qara’aen area in the direction of the airport will really be affected.
 
Sulaiman also disclosed that the RTA of Sharjah completed the draft plan for 82 parking spaces for mosque-goers in the Al Sehaba area.
