Sharjah to build house for second wife of UAE national

Sharjah Housing Department will build a house for the second wife of a UAE national which will be registered under her name and her children.

This decision was taken to prevent dispute among the family.

This was announced by Khalifa Misbah Al Tunaiji, Head of the Housing Department, during a programme aired on Sharjah radio and television after the citizen complained about  problems faced by the second wife.

Al Tunaiji said the department had received many complaints about family disputes between the first and the second wives over housing.

He said this decision was taken to ensure that the second wife and her children get their rights.
