As temperautures across the UAE soared higher on Saturday Al Ain residents got some respite as they enjoyed scattered showers in the evening. Strong winds also lowered heat and humidity in the city.
The maximum temperature hit 45 degree Celcius in some parts on Saturday, reported 'Khaleej Times'.
Meanwhile, the national weather bureau forecasted partly cloudy skies in most parts of the country on Sunday.
Early morning fog would remain a common feature of the season and motorists are warned to be careful while driving.
Rain and thunderstorms caused minor accidents in Al Ain, according to some witnesses.
