Convenience store Zoom’s staff Janet M Nacional proved lucky for Syrian national Abdullah Eissa.

It was her decision to help him fill out the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) grand raffle coupons that won him a Nissan car.

Abdullah, who received nine coupons after buying mobile credit and other essentials at Etisalat metro station’s Zoom outlet on January 12 decided against filling it out as he didn’t believe it could win him anything.

When Janet insisted he must give it a shot, he asked her to take it.

However, she refused to accept it, and followed him to his office, which is located inside the metro station, and handed the coupons back.

She added that Enoc retail’s policy did not permit her to use her name on his coupon tickets.

Abdullah then requested her to fill his information on the ticket on his behalf.

Hours later, Abdullah was announced the winner of the Nissan Grand Raffle.
