Teen gang arrested for stealing from cars

Sharjah Police arrested a gang of five teenagers for breaking into cars parked in residential areas and stealing stuff.

The police received 11 compalints last week, reported 'Gulf News'. The windows of the vehicles were broken and the Pakistani suspects stole mobile phones, cameras, cash, computers and other valuable items, police said.

HK, teenager, was suspiciously movinh about in Al Ghubaiba, while the police were investigating. He was immediately detained. 

He confessed that that he had robbed a number of vehicles with the help of his accomplices AA abd ABA, who were later arrested while driving around the city with licence plate that belonged to a stolen vehicle.

They led the police to two others, NNA and SAS.

All the five are aged between 15 and 17.

“When we searched their homes, we found large quantities of watches, mobile phones, laptop computers, video cameras and identification documents, which belonged to the owners of the vehicles that were broken into,” said the police official.
