Three arrested for drug peddling; 4kg heroin seized

Three Pakistanis have been arrested for trading drugs by the anti-drug department of Sharjah Police in cooperation with the anti-narcotic department of the Ministry of Interior.

Police confiscated 4kg of heroin from their residences. Following a tip-off officials nabbed the first accused who confessed to bringing in the heroin. The second person helped him in promoting and getting business, he told investigating officers. The third person is accused of buying the stuff from them.

Police handed over the acse to the Public Prosecution.
