Here are the top 10 that are most loved and with the affection they receive, these are the top selling as well.
The list is based on a NW-Wealth survey conducted in June 2014.
One of the oldest jewellers in the world, targeting the royalty and celebrities alike, Cartier comes on top of the list when it comes to selling finest quality jewellery, watches and accessories.
And the rich in the UAE love to flaunt their Cartier watches, cufflinks, scarves and the jewellery pieces whether they are in the DIFC, the big malls or in the many luxury hotels.
The brand famous for its ‘little black dress’, the Chanel No. 5 perfume and the Chanel Suit, is one of the top selling brands in the UAE. The known brand gets the nod of the elite and this is evident in the number of products that the label sells here each year.
Gucci is also one of the UAE’s leading luxury fashion brands. The wealthy, who look for quality and Italian craftsmanship, are ardent fans of Gucci designs and its highly desirable products such as leather goods (handbags, small leather goods and luggage), shoes, ready-to-wear, silks, timepieces and fine jewellery.
Hermes products can be quite expensive but that doesn’t sway those who can buy it. It has been reported that a made-to-measure pink croc Hermes Birkin bag embellished with rubies is on sale for £140,000 in the UK and that is the same price as a house or an Aston Martin.
There may not be many buyers for this one but its less pricey options, but still running into thousands of dirhams, does earn it the number 4 slot in the UAE.

The first American brand on the list is Ralph Lauren. It may not be in the same league as Cartier or Chanel but the company is aiming to become known for its $20,000 bags and $10,000 watches.
Away from the more affordable lines, its Ricky bags, which are Italian-made women's leather handbags, are in the price range of $1,700-to-$4,000 range. There is a version in alligator priced at $22,500. A $220,000 stirrup diamond link watch in its range makes it a much loved brand among the wealthy too.

You can recognise a Christian Louboutin shoe anywhere and the rich feet want to be in these designer shiny, red-lacquered soles.
Louboutins can sell from $495 and up, with crystal-encrusted pair costing $6,000. The base price for a custom-made pair of Louboutin is $4,000. The UAE rich are willing to pay that money and that’s the reason the brand is 6th on the top selling brand list.

Its sunglasses, corrective eyewear, purses and watches have also increased its sales. Its make-up range is also quite popular.
Other than the top 10, popular brands also include Armani, Hugo Boss, Paul Smith, Tom Ford, Jimmy Choo and Valencia shoes.
