Various vacancies have opened up in top companies in the UAE and are likely to be filled today and the next two days in the capital.

These companies are participating in the annual career fair, Tawdheef 2014, inviting candidates to come for the interview and the recruitment process.

Top companies like Abu Dhabi Airports Company, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi Educational Council, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Abu Dhabi Terminals, Arabtec, Emirates Aluminium, Etisalat, Mubadla and Standard Chartered Bank are a few to name who will be scouting for candidates during the tree-day event.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company seems to be the biggest recruiter with 4000 vacancies listed followed by Emirates Aluminium (400 jobs listed), Arabtec Holding (200 jobs), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (150 jobs) Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (130 jobs) and Abu Dhabi Educational Council with 100 jobs to be filled. There are many other reputed companies with a long list of vacant jobs and looking for suitable candidates.

The event will be hosted by Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) and will take place from 3rd to 5th of February.

The event is open to Emirati job-seekers and gives them an opportunity to meet more than 75 prospective employers from the defence, energy, manufacturing, banking, and tourism verticals across the public and private sectors. Job seekers will also receive support and advice on improving their resumes and job-search techniques from recruitment specialists at the venue.

Vacant positions in various government, semi-government and private sector organisations and companies in Abu Dhabi will be communicated directly to job-seekers at the recruitment show.

Participating organisations may also conduct one-on-one interviews at their pavilions and offer immediate job placements.
