Two killed on Dubai roads over the weekend
Two people were killed and seven others injured in separate traffic-related accidents over the weekend in Dubai.
One person died and another left critically injured on Dubai Bypass Road when a vehicle suddenly swerved on Sunday morning, said Major-General Mohammed Said Al Zafeen.
On Friday evening, at about 5pm, an Indian man was run over on Mosul Street in the direction of Sheikh Zayed Road to Al Haudh Roundabout.
Later on Friday, four people received moderate injuries and one man was critically injured when their vehicle crashed and flipped over on Dubai-Al Ain Road.
On Thursday a Toyota Hiace car driven by an Asian hit a cyclist, who suffered injuries, said Maj-Gen Al Zafeen.
