Two men get 7 years for raping maid in Fujairah

A Fujairah criminal court sentenced two men to seven years in prison after they were convicted of raping a housemaid in a remote area in the eastern emirate.

Police had arrested the two after they were identified by the maid who said they abducted her to a distant area and raped her.

The Arabic language daily Al Khaleej said the court also fined one defendant Dh10,000 but it did not identify the two rapists.
