The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology, NCMS, has urged motorists to be cautious on roads due to fog in various areas of the country.
In a statement on Wednesday, the NCMS said that the weather today will be fair to partly cloudy at times with light to moderate winds in general.
The relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and early tomorrow morning with a chance of fog/mist formation over scattered areas. Seas are slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
On Thursday, there will be fair weather to partly cloudy at times, the fresh northwesterly winds will start gradually over the sea, associated with gradual fall in temperatures, causing blowing dust and sand and reduce the horizontal visibility over exposed areas.
The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning with a chance of fog/mist formation, especially over internal areas. Seas will be rough in the Arabian Gulf, and moderate, becoming rough by evening in the sea of Oman.
The statement added that on Friday, the conditions are likely to be the same.
