The UAE’s weatherman has painted a rather breezy picture of the UAE in the forthcoming two days, with temperatures forecasted to fall to a low of 13°C in the mountainous parts of the country and chances of mist and fog over internal and coastal areas.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the UAE’s official weather forecaster, reckons mercury in the UAE’s internal areas could dip to 16°C while coastal areas could see it fall to a pleasing 19°C tonight.

Daytime temperatures too are expected to be mild this afternoon and tomorrow, with a maximum temperature forecast of 25°C in the mountainous regions, and between 33 and 35°C elsewhere in the country.

“Weather will be mild during the daytime, especially over the coasts, and pleasant at night, especially over the internal and the mountainous areas,” the NCMS weather forecast for today and tomorrow reads, adding that there will be a partial cloud cover at times in certain areas.

“The cloud amount will increase over some islands and northern areas,” reads today’s forecast, while tomorrow’s forecast suggests that eastern and northern areas of the country are set to witness an increasing amount of cloud cover, maybe towering clouds.

The wind is expected to remain light to moderate today as well as tomorrow, and may freshen at times, while the weatherman expects the sea to remain moderate in general.

In addition, the weather forecaster reckons that an increase in humidity tonight could lead to mist and fog-formation early morning tomorrow as well as day after tomorrow. “The relative humidity will increase over some internal and coastal areas during night and early morning, with a chance of mist/fog,” reads the forecast for tonight as well as tomorrow night.

Drivers are advised to maintain caution in case the mist/fog doesn’t burn out by the time they are ready for their morning commute.
