Woman visits UAE on another's passport

A Chinese woman, who allegedly used a tourist visa issued in the name of another person to visit the UAE, was arrested on leaving at the Dubai International Airport.

LJ, 45, submitted Caiyan Xie's passport, against which a tourist visa was issued, to officials at the airport while entering and departing the country.

LJ is also accused by the Prosecution of illegally entering the country without having a valid passport and visa.

The criminal evidences report proved that the passport was not forged but it carried a picture that does not belong to the accused.

The entry stamp on the passport was correct and the eye scanning of the the entry visa was correct.

The accused confessed to the accusation and the court adjourned the case for verdict until January 31.
