Police in Kalba arrested a woman from another Gulf country and a 10-year-old girl on charges of stealing from shops, newspapers said on Sunday.
They quoted a police spokesman as saying the woman confessed to stealing from one shop in Kalba and two in Khor Fakkan.
“She fooled the shop owners by sitting in her car and asking them to bring some items for her…once she gets those items, she asks the owner to bring another item…as the owner goes back into the shop, she would drive away,” the spokesman said.
